44-YEAR-OLD BRIDGE COLLAPSES IN HIMACHAL PRADESH, INDIA AFTER HEAVY RAIN
A 44-year-old Bridge in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra region given way on Thursday evening because of substantial stream of surge water and rain.
A video, which was caught on a cellphone, demonstrates a substantial bit of the 160-meter extension and its columns giving way and escaping in the overwhelming current. Authorities present at the spot said 76 meters of the extension on 10 columns were washed away by surge waters.
The scaffold was an immediate association for some villagers of Himachal's Nurpur Tehsil with neighboring Punjab.
Despite the fact that the extension saw overwhelming development, no one was harmed in the breakdown. That is on account of a brief organization had ceased activity on the scaffold on Wednesday in the wake of seeing splits in the columns supporting the extension.
